Day 1:

Guests leave their cars at Crawfords Beach Lodge and get transferred by shuttle to Morgan Bay, a short but scenic 45 minute drive through rolling hills and rural villages. One can enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a stroll on the beach or for the more adventurous, abseiling can be pre-arranged.
Overnight at the Mitford Hotel. Dinner is served in the dining room, just metres from the Indian Ocean, where you can see the waves crashing into the nearby cliffs. An a la Carte menu is served, with an option of fresh salads, burgers, steaks, seafood and even a little Asian.

Day 2:

After a hearty breakfast, depart Morgan Bay for a 12.5km hike to Haga Haga. The first 4.5kms is mountainous terrain with towering cliffs and spectacular views. After which is a long 8km stretch of beach. One river crossing is necessary at the Quko River, better known as Double Mouth. Some spotting’s of wildlife can be viewed along the way. Bushbuck and Blesbok are commonly seen as the Double Mouth Nature Reserve extends all the way down to the coast. A popular site along the way is Bead Beach. It is here that one may find ming pottery and carnelian beads due to a 16th century Portuguese shipwreck.

The Haga Haga Hotel and staff will be your host for the evening. Enjoy a Sundowner on their deck just meters from the sea, before being served a wholesome meal in their dining room. The rooms are sea-facing and only a few steps away from the rocks.

Day 3:

Depart Haga Haga for a 16.5km hike to Chintsa East. The first half consists of some rocky sections. Once you reach Cape Henderson it is sandy beach for the rest of the way. You will come across 3 river estuaries, the Nyarha, Kwenxura & Cefane. These rivers are usually closed during the dry months, but do open from time to time.

Crawfords Beach Lodge is waiting to welcome you with luxury Wild Coast accommodation, gourmet cuisine, and beautiful scenery. On arrival at Crawfords, you will be welcomed with a celebratory glass of Sparkling Wine or juice. Put your feet up and relax. Why not book a massage at the onsite spa. Dinner is served buffet-style in the Dining room overlooking the Chintsa Beach.

Day 4:

Enjoy a day of rest at Crawfords Beach Lodge or do some of many activities on offer in and around the area: Surfing, fishing, sandboarding, tennis, canoeing at Areena, game drives, elephant & cheetah interactions at Inkwenkwezi, etc.

Another mouth-watering Buffet Dinner awaits you as you end off the day.

Day 5:

All good things must unfortunately come to an end…
Make the most of the Full English Buffet Breakfast before departing on your journey back home, or why not extend for another night or two or even seven…

2-3 pax @ R4990.00 per person sharing
4-9 pax @ R4500.00 per person sharing

Inclusive of 4 night’s accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner daily (Lunch packs will be issued on hike days). Luggage transfers and guides are also included. Extra activities and refreshments are an additional charge
